MARCH KRAFT PLUS CHALLENGE - JEWELLERY BOX...

… and no, we don't expect you to break up your diamond necklaces & use them for bling on a page!
Well - unless you really want to, I guess!
Yummy! I do love jewellery!
Funnily, hubby had given me a really lovely pearl for our wedding anniversary.
So it made sense to journal about that, in my Traveller's Notebook.
Here's my spread:
Kraft card stock is too thick for the TN, so instead I got my wrapping paper out.
It worked fine; a little crumpled, but I figured that just added to the texture! That's
my story and I'm sticking to it.
I started by pulling out my very old Liquid Pearl Drops, & had a lightbulb moment...
adding some glitter while they were still wet. I was really pleased with that result:
The 'squiggly' lines / hearts are gold Nuvo Drops, that got the
exact same treatment:
Here's my journaling, close up, if you're interested:
Once I'd done this page, I figured maybe I could bling up the WHOLE of the other side
of the spread. Out came the Glossy Gel Medium, down went glitter and tiny sparkles and
gold dust stuff. I really like the effect.
Down went my photo, then added a couple of ruffles of tissue paper, some skinny washi
and some little gold hearts. Done!
Thanks for taking the time to look at this - I hope this inspires you in your own
scrapping, and of course, it would be lovely to see you join us at KRAFT PLUS!
Cheers, Lizzy H xxoo
