Hi there! I hope you find some inspiration from looking at my blog. Take your time, click on some of the links, get some ideas, join some challenges, but most of all, have FUN:):)

I'm still going along quite nicely with my DD.
It's not a hassle. In fact, I'm really
enjoying it.
The only thing is it's so labour intensive that
I find I'm not doing much other scrapping.
So a month will be long enough!
Can't wait to get back to 'normal' scrapping ;)
ANYWAYS, here's a teaser for my LET'S DECEMBER DAILY POST:
I used some ephemera from a Chrissy pressy on a page:
And created a 'flip' of kinds.
Details on the blog!
And I had Ollie on a Friday, so
naturally he got to star on a page!!!

We had a lovely Christmas Day with the family.
I hope you-all did too.
And now we look forward to 2017, I guess!
I'm popping in 4 pages here I did when I was away with
my scrappy mates.
I've used a Kaiser Craft range of papers,
that are all similar but different, if that makes sense:
These are all fairly flat pages, for Lucas's album:
Last one:
Hope you have time to get your scrap on now
Christmas is over!!
Cheers ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

And of course this post is scheduled!!!
I'm up to day 20 over at LET'S DECEMBER DAILY. 2/3 of December
Here's a taste of my latest days.
Including WALLY!
Marie Christine D may recognise the camera?!!
Are you expecting Santa?
Have you been...
I've got a bit of my December Daily scrappy process using this post it note
up on the blog as well:)

Meanwhile I'm going to leave you with a Christmas LO.
Gorgeous wee Ollie last year. He's grown up a LOT since then1
The deer [thank you Mary!] has been cut on my Brother Scan N Cut.
The star is a result of my making my own glitter paper.
The trees [below] were given to me last year. That's the end of them.
I LOVED using them, Sandra S!!
I think the little splash of red worked really well with the heart paper.
Not that you can ever have TOO much gold, but....
I hope you-all have a wonderful, joyful, blessed Christmas
or the equivalent of whatever beliefs you hold :)
For me, it's a reminder of my Christian roots.
As the old saying goes, 'Jesus is the Reason for the Season'.
Or so it is for us:)
Cheers for now & as always,
Happy Scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

Hullo my friends! Christmas is upon us....& I have a tutorial with an
idea that might be useful for a hand crafted present or two. Last minute?
Or maybe for next year. That would be Christmas 2017. Not really that far away.
Anyways, it's up over at OFF THE RAILS.
Here's a couple of sneak peeks:

Take care now & have an amazingly
blessed Christmas if I don't write another post...
Hoping Joy, Peace and Love
is with you at this
special time of year as we celebrate
the birth of Jesus :)
Happy Christmas!!!

Hullo there! This is my last LO that I've created for my time on the FUNKY FLAIR
STUDIO DT. I really do love my flair, but I'm looking forward to NOT being on
any DT's for a while. To take 2017 a bit easier....anyways....
I have to thank MARY B for this sketch. I merely followed it with my own spin!
Still using up older papers.... I had fun doing this one, cos it was 'different' :)
Lovely, lovely Luminosity flair.... just adore the simplicity of them!
The little words are stickers I created on my computer, then printed off. Lots of gold...
Happy times! The little orange stripes peeking out above left of photo are actually
a cut down Project Life card. USING STASH!!!
Gave this little deer a collar of stars, LOL....thanks Mary B for the die cut pattern
for this deer, too!
So, there you have it.... getting close to the Big Day now. Then there will be
more photos to scrap, no doubt!!!!

I did this:
And even tho my finger is really quite sore, I managed to scrap it!
Of course, if you want to see what else I've been up to & what my fave colour
is, & what my biggest luxury in life is right now, then
pop on over to LET'S DECEMBER DAILY!

Can I just send a big shout out for the THANKFUL LIST
from ELISE. It's been a fabulous
way of creating something meaningful [to me!]
on those days that are quiet:)

And here's a bit of what else I've done in the last little while.
Some Christmas pocket letters for 'happy mail'.
I had fun making the little angel on the left with a heart punch
for her wings & the doily for her body!
I also made a 'summer' page for a swap.
Created my own bg pp for this one. That was fun, of course:)
I find these a brill way to use up that stash, too.
I really enjoyed making this tag, too. I got some of those fringing scissors,
from our local IGA supermarket that was closing down. $3. BONUS!!!
And I must show you at least one LO!!
My lovely Grand girl & her mate on holiday in Croatia.
Another multi photo page, cos I couldn't leave out any
of her fabulous pics!
The 'paintery' bg was another one I had in the cupboard
just waiting to be used!!
Back to using to some tiny layers behind the photo above
and some tiny stickers too!
Thanks as always for your wonderful support and
lovely comments ~
Blessings! Lizzy ♥♥♥

Funky Flairs December EXTRA - Dream Big 2015 EXPLORE - Lucas Woy Beach

Hey there! Christmas is upon us....but I have been busy with my FUNKY FLAIRS!
For this page, I've used 2 FUNKY FLAIR STUDIO flairs.
In a couple of slightly 'different' ways:
I used this one from the CAMERA OPTIONS #1 set
in the centre of the camera! Sort of a visual pun!
For the PASTEL WOODGRAINS flair, I did this:
I find frames difficult to use. I have to make an 'effort' to do so!
Which I did on this page :)
These older photos of Lucas have been languishing in my box waiting patiently
to be scrapped! So happy to finally get them done!
The 'xo' was wood, fussied up with my Faber Castell Pitt Artist Big Brush pens.
That's a mouthful!
Then I got my FAVE [atm!!!] Wink of Stella marker & gave the top 1/2 a coat.
Just adore the subtle shimmer it gives:
Can you see I've also used it on the wooden cross? I love that it's not too 'in your face'.
Below, you can see I've stitched across the cloud, blending in the 'fake' stitching
on the frame below it:
A bit of wood scattered around and the  cork frame are in keeping with the natural
elements of the beach, I think:
Summer time is well and truly here. My Grand Boys are real water babies,
living so close by the water. Which means more water photos to scrap....eeeeek!
Will I ever catch up, do you think??!!!!
Take care now ~ happy scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

Let's December Daily & some pages to share

Hey there! I can't believe I'm 1/2 way through my December Daily.
This time next week it'll be almost Christmas. EEEEK!!
I have to say, though, I'm ready. Presents wrapped. House not cleaned.
[Why bother before? Gonna have to do it after, winks!].
I bought a fruit cake for a 'fake' Chrissy pudding if needed. Mind you, I couldn't
find a dark one, so a light coloured one will have to suffice.
We don't really eat it, you see, so no point getting all fussed.
Bought the fake custard - that long life stuff. Which I'll probably be tossing
in the bin this time NEXT year, LOL!
Microwave is waiting for both offerings IF needed...
And the other food? Well, that's why one has Christmas Guests, isn't it?
To share the 'food burden' around?
So dessert & salads & the chicken are,
 therefore, sorted.
The rest Tom likes to fuss about. And when he fusses,
I stay OUT of the kitchen.
I prefer playing with the kids and chatting, anyways;)
Writing this I realise I'm more than ready. Nice feeling!!!
Oh! The decorations. My burden. The thing I'm a real
Grinch or Misery Guts about, are DONE.
Thanks to Grandson #1.
& here's some sneaks:
A fave TV show [you need to watch it!]
More Lindt silver chocolate box hearts.
An altered photo.
 A sort of shaker page.
With a LAUGH where the "u" is actually a "v" an
an "h" that is actually a cut up "b"!
And a great book if you like crime, darkness and suspense!
I have to thank Lizzy C, Mary B & Jo T
for the Christmas bits on this page!
Meanwhile....an extra LO from the stack that I've done
& haven't shared!
I'm trying to do multi photo pages in order
to get my pile of photos SCRAPPED.
Hence this one:
I know it's chock-o-block!
But I try to 'channel' my PL style & go with that idea:)
My fave bit is the tissue style paper I scrunched up below:
And a Funky Flair to boot!
Similarly here, with a LO starring my Mum, mostly:)
Also trying to use up a few frames I've had hanging around.
Sorry, can't resist a pun ~ even a weak one like that!
Once again, tried to keep the decoration mostly
ON and AROUND the photos.
That way it's not overwhelming having
so many photos on the page:
For this LO I combined my latest KTAHOLIC KIT with Old Stash,
which makes me feel GOOOOOOD!!!
I've had that sparkly heart from MITRA P for soooo long.
I really get a thrill how eventually, embellies find their own way home!
Anyways, that's it from me for now
Blessings & of course, Happy Scrapping!
