Hey there, my scrappy friends! I've gotten onto the TANYALEIGHDESIGNZ digi team, for a year.
Looking forward to working with some SWEET kits that Tanya, who's a Kiwi in New Zealand, creates & sells over the web.
They are wonderfully inventive and eminently affordable, at $5 for the downloadable kit.
Of course, I don't have Photo Shop or any of those fancy things, so I simply print off the bits
in the kit I like and use them, just like any other scrappy bits!
This month was the HALLOWEEN KIT.
Hah! So funny, as I don't 'do' Halloween, don't like the concept and never celebrate it.... soooo this was extra challenging. I'm hoping you like how I've thought a little laterally & used some of the CUTE images.
I think my favest thing in this kit was the sweet little witches, the kitty cats and the paint chip papers. Totally YUM!
So, here's the kitty cats AND the paint chips in an easy card:
Have to thank my scrappy mate Yvonne Y for the 'happy' die cut.... :)
I think the cats are supposed to sit on the broom, but they're HAPPY where they are, LOL!!
I also made a LO, celebrating this precious moment between a little boy and his dad:
The little 'potion' bottle became a central focus for the cluster below the photo:
I made a couple of 'fake flair' with the 1" orange/purple polka dot circles in the
kit - punched out, then popped those epoxy sticky clear rounds over the top.
The 'you & me' is a stamp, on white cardstock.
Lastly, I did a double spread in my Traveler's Notebook - of a day at the beach, when
my step Grand daughter was up & we went off with Alex and Lucas. It was the same
day the above photo was taken. It was a VERY good day!
And I've made a video of this one. I haven't made it 'live', as this is a scheduled blog post.
Hopefully the link will work! Otherwise, you can find me over at You Tube somewhere, teehee!
Some stills:
I love that the little witch has a spoon, & it worked perfectly with this title, which I
'borrowed' from the lovely Dolly B!
Another of the 1" circles that I made into a 'fake flair', & backed off on the other
side of the plastic pocket. LOVE these TNs created by THE STAMP SPOT.
Really loved using these tickets, too!
Well, now - that's the longest blog post in the last year, or more, LOL!
Was a wee bit excited about getting stuck into my goodies. I think it shows:)
