SCRAP THE BOYS ~ August challenge 2016

Oh BOY! Had to say that. As this challenge is SOOOO up my alley.
So thank you, SCRAP THE BOYS;)
The Challenge is Not Happy Jan. Use your sad and tantrum photos for a layout.
Oh YES! I've just had my Grand Boys [BOTH at ONCE. First time doing that!]
As you can see, I survived. And so did they. Although THIS happened:
See what I mean? PERFECT for the challenge. For those interested in the story,
here's the journaling in 3 parts. It's a BIG story. Skip down if you're not a reader;)
And the next bit:
Final bit:
I know, you're thinking....well - what's LEFT of the page? She's FILLED it with
journaling. Giggles! Here's the whole page:
And there you have it! Lots of Local goodies here from Cocoa Vanilla &
Flutterby Designs. The title I wrote, then cut on my Brother Scan N Cut,
adding a bit of ink spray to 'tie' the colour in:
Thanks for looking. Please note: No Children were permanently damaged in the making
of this Layout!!! And I'm sure Ollie will LOVE hearing about his 'poo' in a couple more
years!!!!
Take care now ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

  1. Ha! Ha! I have this big smile on my face at the mo .. this story takes me back many (many) years to my own boys and how they 'spat the dummy' when it was taken away only to be happy and smiling again in no time. This whole page is just so precious .. the photo (you are a meanie .. poor little mite. He!He!) the journaling (oh how he's going to cringe when you show him this in a few years time. He!He!) and the quotes and arrows are the perfect embellies!! Such a fabulous, fun page and absolutely brilliant once again!! Love, love, love this!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend Lizzy. hugs xx

  2. Oh my goodness the drama of it all! I too was looking after two boys yesterday and one of them had a few moments of extreme misery as he wasn't feeling 100% but I didn't even think of getting the camera and grabbing a photo or two!hehe.. Poor baby! I am sure he won't remember any of the trauma not like you! Fabulous take on the challenge and your journaling says it all! He is still very cute even when having a sad time! I hope your weekend is going well! It is turning cold up here...brrrr.

  3. Laughing my head off here Lizzy - it's such a familiar story and yes, we too, have had the drama of the missing dummy and snugga at bedtime. This is such a precious story and the photos demonstrate the sad bewildered look of Mister Buster, who is hoping a quick tantie will get Ma to relinquish the precious items. THIS is why we scrapbook. Love, love love it :D
