4 in 1 CARD CHALLENGES...

...I don't mean I've used 1 card for 4 challenges....you know me better than that, right? Nope. Here's my 4 cards for 4 challenges in 1 blog post ~ using alphabetical order!
The sketch:

And my card:

Just 'had' to show you the lovely shimmer from the Silks watercolours! Feathers found around our place!
The sketch:

I turned this one on the side, to suit the shape of the card I'd cut out:
Some Studio Calico PL 4x6 cards..I also punched out circles from the packaging [thanks Sandi T!]
Most of the other goodies come from Joy T:

Here's my take. This is my favourite of the cards, I must add!
Can you see my mixed media? I used one of those kraft gift 'bags', opened out & torn in half...gessoed, heat embossed...stamped.... LOOOOVE the gold! Did a similar thing to the Dusty Attic bird cage!
The paper behind is from Meg's Garden - a FABULOUS place for vintage goodies!!
The challenge is to use these 'vintage' tones:

I decided to drag out any vintage stamps I had, & see how I went. Came up with this:
Shame on me! I hadn't used this stamp - it was from a Prima giveaway win! So I stamped, fussy cut then Glossy Accented & popped it up on some dimensionals....the printed card behind was from packaging!
So...a 'man' card to end! I enjoyed making the 'bingo' background with a simple masking technique....
Thanks so much for 'traveling' along with me on this 4 in 1 post!!!
And happy scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

  2. Ahhhhhh yes, so much inspiration here Lizzy. I like that each of these can be an "any occasion" card; always hand to have stashed stash. Loving the gold elements, particularly on the vintage style card :)

  3. And each card is wonderful! Great takes on each of those challenges! Sometimes I enjoy just sitting and creating a card or two, less to think about than a layout! Have a great day!

  8. Very nice ! Love the colours in the feeling sketchy one, sort of vintage, old world to me, which I LOVE I love the shabby chic ness of the mixed medial one and the last one is a fantastic masculine card and that is a wonderful stamp, although I am guilty of not using my stamps either . Love the bits of gold on the top one and the stripe paper and all beautiful .
