Hiya there - KRAFT IT UP has a 'recipe' challenge this month. You need to create a layout using Kraft Cardstock or Kraft Patterned Paper plus the following...
3 Different Alpha's + 3 Photos + A title with 3 or more words + a masked background!
3 Different Alpha's + 3 Photos + A title with 3 or more words + a masked background!
Tick, tick, tick. And I finally got a chance to do the 'cut the photo' idea that I saw over at Em Stafrace's blog! I've wanted to give this a go for a while.

No mask...again! So I used this old sheet from some SEI alphas. I wanted to mist 'Y U M' for my bg.

So, I cut out the letters, cut a chunk out of my A4 old papers, stuck in the alphas I needed et voila! My own alpha masks!!!!

I've used Rangers Perfect Pearl Mists. I love their shimmer!
![]() |
Cut up a lot of 'flags'...lots of the Kesi' Art pad in here. Great colours! Then added some Washi so I could journal across them. Bit different! See the Greatest View badge peeking in the corner?

The knife & fork come from an EP pack...I outlined them for 'oomph'!!

I also added some extra mists & rough 'stars' using gesso mixed with Tattered Angels glimmer mist - sunflower.

The stars are a stamp that I've fussy cut. Fiddly, but I like them. They match the journaling:):)
And finally!
We've been on a short break, so I'm a little behind with the photos of the month....
Day 19: IMPERFECT
Steps leading up a steep hill in VANUATU. Yep! That's where we've been...not perfect, as you can see, but perfectly serviceable:):)
Day 20: FAVE PHOTO YOU'VE EVER TAKEN:
Now, that's almost impossible. But this is my latest 'fave'
I wonder where this was taken...lime juice....& blue skies & balmy nights. sigh. I miss it already!

Day 21: Where you slept:
Gotta show you this one! First time in one of these...
ALMOST caught up.....had a pile of mail....HAPPY mail waiting for me at home, too. The best bits?I'd had a win over at SCRAP JACKED a while ago, & the lovely Lee-Anne & Danny over at SCRAP THERAPY provided a gift voucher that I had a ball spending. They've got a huge range of goodies. I had fun!!!! Still time to go into SCRAP JACKED's latest challenge....take a peek & have a go!
And my goodies from Charmaine, over at CHARM'S CREATIONS also arrived. That was from a win over at SHOW US YOUR STUFF - they've got 2 VERY inspiring challenges on atm. I have great admiration for Charm's imaginative & quirky embellishments & I'm really looking forward to incorporating them into my LO's.
And finally, Sandra, over at KIANDRA KREATIONS deserves the BIGGEST thanks you can ever possibly imagine! I won a RAK over there & she was sooo generous that I just wanted to say 'taa', publically.
I must say, the generosity of so many individuals as well as organizations & shops is staggering and continually amazes me - it's wonderful to see & be a part of it:):) And on that note... don't forget to check out the 2 challenges running over at our SCRAP FRIENDS blog, too...more goodies & opportunities for yon keen scrappy folks!!!
