FROSTED DESIGNS CARD SKETCH #21
Hi there - I needed a card...can't believe how I always seem to be short of them! Anyway, got some Glubers from Scrap Friends that arrived today, so I made myself a flower...very pleased with it, too, & it worked perfectly for this sketch which is the current challenge over at FROSTED DESIGNS. I've had this ribbon ever since I first started scrapping in 2009, so it felt GOOOOOD to use it up finally:)
The sketch:
Thought this was a bit of a different spin on a bottle top, too - I've used Gluber stickers to wind the string around, too - MUCH easier than Modge Podge!!

ReplyDeleteWow! I love this PINK card!! and the flower looks amazing, but for dummy me what is a gluber??? sounds like something a kid has in his nose!! oh dont worry about me.. I have been scrapping, and yes it is nearly mid night!! way too late for me to still be up at my age....Bahahahahaha!! and it is still raining.... but I am on my way to hit the hay.... Nitey!!
ReplyDeleteI have been umming and aahing over Glubers as not really sure what they were for but now I see I have to have them!! Just super :0) I also have some of that felt die cut stuff around so should really dig that out too! Think I may be pinching your ideas :0)

ReplyDeleteGlubers sound like Jac paper but I hope its a bit stickier because I have a little trouble using the Jac for my twisted flowers. This card is amazing, just love it.
