Lime Tree Creations & Sketches With A Twist May Challenges

Hi there.... here are 2 of my faves so far this month ~ but it's only just started, of course! This card is for LIME TREE CREATIONS monthly challenge, which is a 'free' challenge...create whatever you want...as long as you use something from the lovely  Becci in your work. I was lucky enough to win a voucher for her store from Scrap Jacked...then couldn't resist buying some extra goodies whilst I was there. They're sooo vibrant and bright! I made a card. Surprise...NOT!!!

I’ve punched out the blue card, then fussy cut around the edges to make the outside of the flower. This was a FUN one to make…and great for using scraps up!

Meanwhile, one of my favourite challenge blogs SKETCHES WITH A TWIST [&I'd have to 'second' Mitra here, I probably like it so much 'cos Lizzy C who I've decided is my Doppleganger, is on the DT over there:):)]  have a VERY interesting, challenging sketch & the 'twist' is to sew on it...I've got machine stitching all over the show here as well as some cross stitching. There was a circle around the title...but I'm not 'good' on circles, so I drew one in lightly, then cross stitched to draw attention to it.
I've also slightly angled the sketch to suit the piccies & I LOVE these photos...we're all such happy chappies here!
The little daisy charm is from My2Angels. They have lovely charms! You can see I've used Washi tape from Scrap Friends to journal on as well as popping it under the title...I LOVE Washi!!
Bought the Authentique Miracle Baby Boy collection for my soon-to-be- born Grand boy... then decided it's one of the most versatile set of papers I've EVER come across...so I used them here to show you:) I've got another project in the pipeline that's totally feminine with the same papers...soon:):) I've altered the little tag colours to suit - it's from the Authentique GENUINE collection sticker sheet
Made a windmill from some Crate paper & see the little Washi tape behind?
Hope you enjoy looking...& here's the sketch if you feel like challenging yourself..you've got plenty of time ~ like all month:):)

And don't forget to pop over to Scrap Friends & have a 'go' at ours, as well:):)
Happy Scrapping,
Lizzy H
