Let's Get Shabby May Challenge

Hi there...one of my favourite challenges is Let's Get Shabby...I think it's mainly 'cos of the amazingly inspiring DT!! This month you need to do repeated geometrical shapes that are clearly visible. Well, I started off doing an 'off the pager'....but my shapes weren't that visible...so I decided to start again with an 8x8 page for my 'Ma's Album'....this one is about my mother [she's in the funky sunnies] & Wal, my step Dad who she married when Dad died. I've used hexagons. Not that I should need to tell you that! And I've got a FULL page of journalling on the back of the photo, as this album is all about sharing memories with my soon-to-be-born grandson:)

I've had fun pleating a Washi tape heart & that embellie is from the lovely MITRA.

 

Lots of misting - bit hard to see, but it's there - & little pearls, diamantes etc:)

And yes, I know there is no title, but I honestly didn't think it needed it...not with the big heart there ~ that says it all! Hope you enjoy this... I didn't bore you with the whole page of journaling, you will note!

I got the frame for free outside an  Op Shop up in QLD....poor thing was totally unwanted!!!!
